This incredible vintage Datejust features a combination of stainless steel and karat yellow gold.  This two-tone design offers a hint of gold without overpowering the design of this watch, creating a look that is ideal for everyday wear or nice occasions.  The 5-piece link Jubilee bracelet seen here on reference 1601 is accompanied by a 36mm Oyster case with an elegant fluted bezel.  This offers a beautiful contrast to the striking blue dial set with yellow gold stick hour markers and sweeping hands.  No Datejust watch would be complete without the addition of the iconic automatically changing date window positioned at the 3-hour marker.  The classic design of this Datejust makes it an impressive addition to any watch collection.

  Stunning good looks. The slate dial is a bit more understated than the silver, gold, or black datejust dials, which I feel is important. The dial color pairs well with the bracelet or any brown or black leather straps.

  Serial Number 2801936 is the one that I own. It is a complete set with box and papers. Unlike the version, shown in the photo, I have no luminescent hands. Great timepiece and has increased in value from the $255 Price Tag from June 28,1972. P.S. Not For Sale.
